Veteran’s Day Celebration & Performance by Mr. Young’s 5th Grade Class

Please join us on Saturday, November 6th, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on the Starbucks patio for a Veterans Day celebration.  Mr. Young’s 5^th grade students have made Veterans Day cards to handout and will perform songs from the musical “Hamilton.”  Members of Dana Point VFW Post 9934 will be in attendance. The service men and women enjoy sharing stories with the kids, and the genuine respect and grateful acknowledgement for their service.   This has proven to be a valuable experience that helps teach the kids about our military history, respect, service to others and selfless sacrifice.
