Upcoming parent letter writing campaign:
The Classified layoff notice campaign is almost ready and should be ready for me to send out to you by the end of this week. This will run until about April 24, so we have enough time to get parent signatures. This is being done as a resolution to make it different from the teacher layoff notice campaign...

| Supporting our teachers at George White... |
 I know many of you have wanted to do something to show your support for our George White teachers, and especially for those teachers that have received notices. Here is your chance to do something….we have been working with some of the teachers to come up with the right message and decided that we would show our support starting THIS Friday (3/28) by wearing black, and the teachers that received pink slips will wear pink.
Aly Ben-Joseph and I are still in the early stages of selling (not for profit) black t-shirts stating “No Teacher Left Behind”. I will provide you more details on the t-shirts as soon as we have more information.
The important message is that we show our support for our wonderful teachers and wear black on Fridays. As you know, this is completely optional, and it is entirely up to you if you wish to participate yourself or have your children wear black.
